The “texture and color” courses take place during the months of July and August in the Palencia town of Santa Cecilia del Alcor, in the heart of Tierra de Campos.
The objective of the courses is to bring the participants closer to the world of dyeing and harvesting processes with natural dyes, so that upon completion, they will be able to learn about the necessary processes to experiment on their own with other dyeing or mordant plants and develop their own colors.
As regards handicraft weaving on low warp looms, it is intended that students at the end of their learning know how to make the necessary calculations to project a piece and know the steps of preparing the loom, assembling the warp and weaving of the piece.
